City renews sidewalk replacement program

NORWICH – For the sixth consecutive year, the Common Council has renewed the city’s Sidewalk Replacement Program, offering residents financial assistance to have their damaged and deteriorating sidewalks restored or replaced.

Estimated costs this year are at $22 per linear foot. Although the amount of property frontage varies between residents, the average frontage ranges between 35 and 60 feet.
