ELMIRA – Norwich basketball coach Tom Collier and NHS players Mike Sutton and Kyle Edwards, along with Bainbridge-Guilford senior Austin Bauerle, were recently honored by the Section IV BCANY (Basketball Coaches Association of New York).

Collier was named the Section IV Class B coach of the year, while Sutton, Edwards, and Bauerle were named to the all-Section IV team.

Edwards and Sutton helped Norwich to its second straight Section IV Class B title, and were the top two scorers on the team. Edwards averaged 12.3 points and nearly four rebounds per game, while Sutton came on strong the second half of year averaging 11.3 points and 4.8 assists per game.Bauerle, a four-year player for the Bobcats, put up over 19 points and 15 rebounds this season, and was second in Chenango County scoring.
