GREENE – Collaborating with local businesses, the Raymond Corporation hosted an Improving Team Collaboration & Resolving Conflict Seminar Friday morning at the newly renovated first floor of The Sherwood Hotel, which is scheduled to reopen in the near future.

Organized by the Raymond Corporation, the event was also sponsored by the Chenango County Job Service Employer Committee, Commerce Chenango and the Chenango-Delaware-Otsego Workforce. Forty-one people representing area businesses attended the seminar and participated in a wide variety of activities geared toward improving their respective work environments, including juxtaposing the benefits of working in a team as opposed to individually; exploring different aspects of conflict and conflict resolution; imparting knowledge in regards to synergy; as well as learning how to put to use eight tips for identifying win/win solutions. The seminar lasted approximately three and a half hours.
