Main Street Sweep

The Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) hosted its annual "Main Street Sweep" Saturday May 18. Volunteers completed tasks including: pulling weeds, picking up trash and cigarette butts, sweeping parking lots, and washing windows of vacant storefronts throughout the main business district in downtown Norwich. BID's Executive Director Ann Coe had said before the clean up that the event would be a wonderful opportunity for service organizations, school/church groups, and other community members to pitch in to spruce up downtown before the summer events kick-off this weekend for Memorial Day.
