Dairy Princess 2013 crowned

Nineteen-year-old Exley Bookamer of South Plymouth (right) was crowned the 2013 Chenango County Dairy Princess during the 50th annual Chenango Dairy Promotion Banquet held at Morrisville State College Norwich Campus on Saturday. Bookamer is employed by Ransford Creek Farm, an independent member of 4-H, and a junior member of the Jersey Cattle Association. Pictured left is Sarah Baker, Chenango County Alternate Dairy Princess. Baker, 16, of Mount Upton, owns dairy cattle and is an independent 4-H member and past dairy ambassador. In school, Baker is a member of the National Honor Society, Students Against Drunk Driving, Student Council, Language Club, High Honors, Leadership Conference, 2013 Girl’s State representative for the class of 2014, High School Band, Jazz Band.
