OXFORD – Oxford rebounded from a loss to Afton last weekend with a comfortable victory over Norwich Monday in Otsenango Pony League play.
Kevin Davis pitched four shutout innings for Oxford allowing two hits for the win. Kyle Crawford and Jonathan Heggie each drove in three runs, and Dylan DePew scored three times. Heggie finished 3-for-4, DePew was 2-for-2, and Kyle Crawford had two hits in four trips to the plate.
Nate Scheer was the lone Norwich player with two hits, and Nick Murphy was credited with an RBI.

Afton 14, Hamilton 0
AFTON – Afton's trio of pitchers Joe DeVona (3-0), Colin Nabinger, and Kevin Hubbard struck out a combined 10 Hamilton batters in a two-hit shutout win Monday in Otsenango Pony League play.
DeVona tossed four innings in earning the decision striking six and walking just two.
Connor Graven-Briggs went 4-for-4 at the plate with four runs scored and four stolen bases. McGwire Tuttle homered and drove in two runs, while Michael Mertz had two runs scored and one stolen base.
