Three charged in New Berlin crack cocaine bust
NEW BERLIN – Three people were arrested last night and charged with various felonies in relation to the unlawful sale of crack cocaine in the Town of New Berlin.
Last night, at approximately 8:06 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and Entry Team executed a “no-knock” search warrant at 118 Meadow Lane. After making a tactical entry into the residence, officers discovered a large quantity – approximately one ounce – of crack cocaine. Cash, packaging material and drug paraphernalia were also seized during the search.
The home’s residents, Jessica, age 32, and Alan Crisell, age 31, were both charged with first degree criminal nuisance – a class E felony – for allegedly “maintaining a premises at which the unlawful sales of controlled substances” occurred, said authorities. Jessica was also charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, a class A misdemeanor.
