Armed robbery suspect remains at large

NORWICH – The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate an armed robbery that occurred at the Kwik Fill convenience store on state Route 12 in the Town of Norwich at approximately 7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22.

According to authorities, the suspect has been described as an approximately 6-foot-tall white male with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light colored jeans, and dark colored sneakers.

Police added it appears the man disguised his face with a white bandana or ski mask. Authorities believe the suspect had a vehicle parked in the North Plaza off of State Highway 12 in the Town of Norwich.
