WIC remains open despite local confusion relating to government shutdown

CHENANGO COUNTY – The New York State WIC Program in Chenango County is located at Opportunities for Chenango at 44 West Main Street in Norwich.
It remains open and will carry on business as usual, despite the federal government shutdown.
This means that all scheduled appointments and events will continue. WIC will be able to serve anyone with an appointment.
If you have missed an appointment, please call to re-schedule.
New families are encouraged to apply. WIC program benefits are still available and any checks already issued are valid.
