One remanded following court proceedings

NORWICH – A Greene man facing felony drug charges appeared in Chenango County Court for his felony arraignment Monday. Additionally, a Plymouth woman appeared for sentencing.
Glenn E. O’Connor, 45, Greene, was arrested by authorities on Aug. 2, 2013 following the execution of a “no-knock” search warrant on Stein Road in the Town of Greene. According to authorities, the search followed an investigation into the manufacturing of methamphetamine at the residence. This investigation began following a shooting incident that took place one day prior in the Town of McDonough.
O’Connor was indicted by a grand jury on Oct. 16 and faces one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, a class A-II felony; and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.
It is alleged O’Connor was knowingly and unlawfully in possession of two or more ounces of liquid methamphetamine, contained within three vials.
Following a grand jury indictment, individuals reappear in county court for a felony arraignment.
O’Connor was remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail.
He will reappear in court at a later date.
Leslie Woodward, 33, Plymouth, pled guilty to grand larceny in the fourth degree – a class E felony – on July 15, 2013. It was alleged Woodward stole and then sold jewelry that did not belong to her, with an approximate worth of $1,770.
