<em>Guilford man arrested for sex offense</em>

GUILFORD – The New York State Police in Sidney arrested Mark Crawford, 46, 354 Ives Settlement Rd., Guilford, for the class C felony of criminal sexual act in the second degree and the class A misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child.

Crawford was arrested following an investigation conducted by the New York State Police and Chenango County Child Protective Services. It is alleged that Crawford had sexual contact with a child less than eleven years old.

He was arraigned in the Town of Guilford Court and remanded to Chenango County Correctional Facility. A $20,000 cash bail was placed on him.

<em>Plymouth fireman allegedly stole more than $10K from fire department</em>

PLYMOUTH – The New York State Police arrested Andrew B. Cushman, 25, Plymouth, on Nov. 12 in Norwich for the class D felony of grand larceny in the third degree. The arrest followed the New York State Police’s response to a report that funds had been stolen from the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department.
