NPD in search of missing Norwich man



NORWICH – The Norwich City Police Department is in search of a man missing from Norwich. According to authorities, Gary E. Powell, 73, was last seen operating a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser – bearing the NY license plate number CKR 5668 – on Dec. 25, 2013 during the afternoon hours.
A delayed DMV ‘tag hit’ was receieved by police from the Village of Frankfurt at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday.
Powell may be suffering from dementia, and is late for a kidney dialysis treatment.
He is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, with gray hair and green eyes.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the NPD at 334-1212.
