Oxford man arrested for attempted murder and robbery; held without bail

NORWICH - William H. Danielson, 48, Oxford, was arrested and charged on Friday with attempted murder in the second degree, a class B felony; and robbery in the first degree, a class B felony, in relation to an incident that occured at approximately 6:45 a.m. Friday morning in the Town of Norwich.
According to authorities, the man allegedly robbed and assaulted the female victim in her driveway.
The most recent report from the Chenango Sheriff's Office stated the female victim was in critical condition at Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City on Friday night.
Danielson was arraigned in Chenango County Court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility without bail and is set to reappear in court Jan. 2.
