Autopsy completed; cause of death released
NORWICH – According to New York State Police, an autopsy of the body of Christopher M. Gonzalez was conducted by Dr. Robin Eastman-Abbaya at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton on Jan. 11, and it was determined that the cause of death was hypothermia.
The statement from police indicated that a secondary contributing factor was found to be drug toxicity.
The manner of death was ruled accidental.
