BAINBRIDGE – Morgan Bullis and Megan Ferrara scored high on their boards Monday against visiting Unadilla Valley.
Bullis had 21 rebounds to go with her season-high 20 points, and Ferrara grabbed 12 rebounds, while also playing tough defense inside as the Bobcats regrouped from Friday’s league loss to Sidney.
“Morgan played really well tonight,” said B-G coach Bob Conway. “She was on the floor for loose balls; she was all over the place.”
Ferrara was largely responsible for defending UV double-digit scorer Corrine Izard, and held Izard to three points. Marissa Thornton, who did not score, also figured heavily in the win. Thornton was the primary defender of UV’s top scorer Taylor Davis. Davis scored just seven, well below her season average.
