Upstate NY braces for another round of snow, cold

BUFFALO (AP) - The National Weather Service has issued winter storm warnings for much of upstate New York, where forecasters are predicting more than 20 inches of snow could fall in some areas by late Wednesday.
Most of the warnings start late Tuesday night and last into Wednesday night. The weather service says snowfall totals are likely to range from about 10 inches in the Buffalo area to 20 inches or more in parts of the Southern Tier and Hudson Valley.
Forecasters say temperatures will plunge to the teens or single digits in most upstate areas by the time the storm moves out of the region late Wednesday night.
