DELHI – Overtime losers at Oxford last month, Delhi avenged that defeat in the MAC mini-tournament Monday night.
Connor Gioffe, who did not score in the previous meeting against Oxford, led Delhi with 14 points. The Bulldogs erased a five-point deficit after one quarter to take a seven-point lead into halftime. The advantage grew to 10 after three quarters.
"We had some foul trouble in the second quarter, and that hurt us defensively," said Oxford coach Tim Davis. "Our defense was just a step slow tonight, and we didn't shoot well at all."
Oxford shot just 29 percent for the game and made two of 11 three-point attempts.
Kevin Davis scored 19 points and had 14 rebounds for Oxford, who close the season Wednesday at Walton.

WINDSOR – Windsor made its fast start hold up.
The Black Knights jumped out to a 14-point lead after one quarter, and held off Greene, who closed to within six points in the fourth.
Chase Moran scored six in the first quarter and Jordan Steele five leading Windsor to an 18-4 lead.
"We were flat-footed and deliberate, and we struggled defensively in the first quarter," said Greene coach Dave Gorton. "Windsor also shot the ball very well. We were giving up jump shots, and they were making them."
Tiffany Borst and Katie Carey scored 10 points apiece for Greene, who host Unatego tonight.

AFTON – Afton's up-tempo attack led it to a big early advantage in Monday's non-league home victory over the Raiders.
Payton Cutting scored 11 in the first quarter and had all 13 of her points in the first half as the Crimson Knights built a 37-18 lead at halftime.
"Afton has improved a lot since the beginning of the season," said G-MU coach Jim Johnson. ""They are swarming and athletic. They also run well and push the ball quickly up and down the floor."
Shakari Coss led Afton with 16 points.
Mackenzie Talbot paced G-MU (2-16) with 11 points.
