CANTON – Kyle Edwards (Norwich, Norwich H.S), a freshman on the St. Lawrence men's basketball team, was named this week the Liberty League Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season, and third time in four weeks.

Edwards led St. Lawrence with 12 points on 3-of-6 shooting from behind the arc in a loss to Vassar. He added five rebounds, two assists, and two steals against the Brewers. He followed with 11 points and three assists in the win over Bard on Saturday and managed nine points and four assists at Clarkson on Tuesday.

Edwards started 24 of 25 games this season for St. Lawrence (10-15) finishing third on the team in scoring (11.4 points per game), first in assists (3.3 per game), and first in three-pointers made (48).
