NEW BERLIN – At 3:59 a.m. on Friday, a call was made to 911 to report a fire at a two story, wood framed house on State Highway 23, just east of the Chenango County line.

According to Chenango County Fire Alerts, “South New Berlin command requested all available manpower from Morris and New Berlin.” Mount Upton and Norwich also responded to the scene.
