Two children in vehicle accident, unharmed

GUILFORD – Yesterday evening an accident was reported to 911 after two young children got into a vehicle with the keys in it. The vehicle then rolled back and went over an embankment for 10 to 12 feet to land in the nearby creek, according to Sergeant J. Hitt with the Sheriff's Office.

Said A. Jones, Chief Dispatcher with the Sheriff's Office, “It was reported that one of the children was ejected from the vehicle.”

“As of last night there were no injuries to either children,” said Hitt. He explained that the three year old was at one point unconscious, but was not injured.
