Chenango County Republicans announce 2014 Lobsterfest

CHENANGO COUNTY – Chenango County Republican Committee Chairman Tom Morrone has announced that the committee will hold its 39th annual Lobsterfest from noon to 4 p.m., July 20, at the Canasawacta Country Club in Norwich.

Each year, Lobsterfest hosts political pundits from around the county and across the state. Local, state and federal political figures, including Republican Congressman Richard Hanna, New York State Senators Tom Libous and James Seward, and Assemblymen Clifford Crouch and Gary Finch, are expected to attend this year.

The event will also feature local political figures which includes Chenango County Board of Supervisor Chairman Lawrence Wilcox, Village of Sherburne Mayor Bill Acee, and City of Norwich Mayor Joe Maiurano. This year will additionally welcome expected attendees Chris Moss, Chemung County Sheriff and Republican candidate for Lt. Governor; and Robert Mulvey, Justice of the New York State Supreme Court and Administrative Judge for the Sixth Judicial District.
