Elites win fourth game

MILFORD – The OCO Elites’ 19-and-under baseball team picked up win number four this season blanking Milford Monday, 3-0, in a five-inning, rain-shortened matchup.
Kevin Musser completed the shutout win allowing just one Milford hit. Musser struck out eight and did not walk a batter.
The Elites scored once in the opening inning when Austin Lewis came home on Paul Van Warner’s RBI groundout. The Elites tacked on two more runs in the third highlighted by Conor Pope’s two-run single that plated Austin Taylor and Andrew Radke.
Pope finished with two of OCO’s four hits.
The Elites (4-10) host Unatego today at 6 p.m. at Unadilla Valley High School.
