Cris Jacobs Band takes East Park Stage tonight

NORWICH – After 10 years fronting the Baltimore band The Bridge, Cris Jacobs is continuing to show his depth and range as a gifted songwriter and performer.
With his deeply expressive vocals, passionate and gritty guitar playing, and poignant songwriting, Jacobs creates an instantly engaging sound that ranges from intensely rockin’ to sublimely sweet, to hauntingly psychedelic. Jacobs’ prolific songbook provides the fertile ground for his improvisational fearlessness, creating a truly dynamic live experience.
Tonight starting at 7 p.m., Jacobs and crew are set to bring their brand of bluesy goodness to the Chenango County crowd. There is no admission fee, and the community is encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy Thursday’s respite from the rain with some great music in East Park.
The Summer Concert Series is presented by The Chenango Blues Association in conjunction with funding from NBT Bank of Norwich.
