OXFORD - Sidney 1 grabbed the lead over Oxford with three runs in the fourth, and added a key insurance run in the seventh in Monday's Otsenango Pony League victory.
Dawson Crawford had two hits and an RBI single for Sidney, and Alex Hoskins delivered two RBI including the eventual game-winner in the final inning.
Josh Nelson, Tommy Voce, and Austin Crawford all had single ribbies for Oxford in the loss.

GREENE - Norwich/UV defeated Greene for the second time in four days in Otsenango Pony League play Monday night.
Nate Scheer pitched four innings of one-hit ball striking out six to pick up the victory. Andrew Jackson relieved Scheer in the fifth to complete the shutout.
Norwich/UV combined for 13 total hits with Ted Postma and James Herring leading the way with three base knocks apiece. Jackson and Scheer added two basehits each.
Norwich/UV will host Oxford tonight at Unadilla Valley High School.
