OXFORD - Bainbridge-Guilford picked up its third shutout victory in five days defeating Oxford Saturday.
Jake Cuozzo and Dan Norris scored in the first half for the Bobcats, who improved to 9-0 with the win.
"They attack seven or eight guys all the time, and it's tough on your defense," said Oxford coach Matt Dorman of B-G. "We had a few good saves, but they keep pounding it in there."
Aidan Nolan, Kyle Hanvey, and Kyle Rideout had second-half goals for B-G.
Oxford faces Delhi today.

NORWICH - Norwich's league record moved to 4-4 as Delhi's Alex Cantwell had a banner day for the Bulldogs.
Cantwell scored all four goals for Delhi, who held a slight 15-11 edge in shots on goal.
Chris Trevisani and Luis Diaz found the net for Norwich, who host Walton today.

GREENE – Greene reached double-digit victories on the season defeating Unadilla Valley for the second time this season.
Kevin Halsteter had two goals for the Trojans, and Brian Leone had his first tally of the season.
UV’s lone goal came from Nathaniel Garry, who converted a second-half penalty kick.

CHERRY VALLEY – Cherry Valley-Springfield’s Morgan Westerman scored her second goal - and the winning goal - with 1:08 left in the second half to give the Patriots a victory over the Raiders Saturday.
Westerman scored just 2:52 into the game before the Raiders’ Tayler Nichols tied the game with 10 1/2 minutes left in the first half.

S-E runs at E.J. Herman Invitational
UTICA – At the highly competitive E.J. Herman Invitational, Sherburne-Earlville's boys placed 24th in team scoring in the 231-boy small school race Saturday.
Ian Benedict again topped the Marauders placed 70th overall with a time of 20:09, and Kenny Ulrich was 118th in 21:42. "Collectively we did well, and I was really pleased with the bottom half of the team," said S-E coach Anne Geary. "Their times came down and helped us with our team score."
Miranda Wright had one of her best times to date to top the S-E ladies. Among 189 runners at the starting gate, Wright clocked a 25:21 to place 87th.

LITTLE FALLS - Sydney McCarthy had a hat trick for Little Falls in a shutout victory over Sherburne-Earlville Saturday.
McCarthy had the last two goals of the first half to make it 3-0, then scored 11:46 into the second half. McCarthy assisted Katrina Bacher on the game's final goal as well.

CHENANGO FORKS – Chenango Forks’ strong lineup led to eight victories in 12 events to defeat the Purple Tornado Friday night.
Norwich’s Lexi Laundry captured the 200- and 500-yard freestyles, Maya Blaisure added a win in the breaststroke, and Norwich picked up a victory in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

SIDNEY – Norwich improved to 5-3 on the season defeating Sidney Friday in a non-league matchup, 25-17, 25-14, 25-23.
Meg Komendarek had 12 kills and Cassie Birtch led NHS with 12 assists. Caitlyn Brown and Courtney Scheer finished with four aces apiece.
