Norwich man faces assault charges
OTSELIC – A Norwich man was arrested last last Thursday, October 7 stemming from a fight at an establishment in the Town of Otselic.
Troop C State Troopers in Norwich arrested John Posson, 25, of Norwich for assault in the third degree, a class a misdemeanor.
The arrest was the result of a complaint filed by a 31-year-old woman who stated that on Oct. 4, 2014, she was punched in her right eye by Posson during a fight at the American Legion in South Otselic, NY.
Posson was released with a ticket on his own recognizance and scheduled to appear in the Town of Otselic Court later today.
