Police: ‘Mutual combat’ during domestic dispute, two arrested
NORWICH — Two were arrested by Norwich Police Monday night after authorities said a female stabbed a male in front of a child.
Police responded to a Mitchell Street residence in the City of Norwich at approximately 10:30 p.m. Monday for a domestic dispute call.
“When officers arrived on the scene, they found a male holding a bloody towel around his arm,” said Norwich Police Chief Joseph Angelino.
Jessica Lennox, 21, of Norwich was charged with assault in the second degree, a class D felony; criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor; criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor; endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor; and harassment in the second degree, a violation.
