Valley Ridge employee charged with assault
NORWICH – Police this week arrested an employee of the Valley Ridge Center for Intensive Treatment after receiving complaint that he punched one of the center’s residents.
According to New York State Police, 45-year-old Daniel J. Caulfield of Oxford is accused of hitting the Valley Ridge resident and injuring his mouth during a dispute Wednesday at the treatment center on County Road 46 in Norwich.
Caulfield was arrested on the charge of assault in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor.
He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Norwich Town Court on Nov. 6.
