S-E completes season at Section III Championships

Class C Championships
VERNON – Sherburne-Earlville's boys placed eighth in the Section III Class C Cross Country Championships, Saturday at V-V-S High School.
Senior Ian Benedict led the S-E half-dozen timing 19 minutes flat to place 26th out of 151 runners. Kenny Ulrich was next in 66th place clocking 20:06.
On the girls' side, S-E placed 12th in team scoring led by Miranda Wright's 53rd-place finish out of 119 runners. Wright timed a team-best 25:38 over the five-kilometer course.
“Our runners were all within – or at – personal-best times for their final race of the season," said S-E coach Anne Geary. "As coach, I am very happy with the progression and overall outcome of our team. We have set the stage for next season with true team determination and strength."
