C-CARE presents: ‘A Place at the Table’

NORWICH – It is estimated that nearly 50 million Americans do not know where their next meal is coming from. The Chenango Community Action for Renewable Energy is showing a film free of charge to those interested in learning more about the issue.

“A Place at the Table” tells the powerful stories of such people, who maintain their dignity even as they struggle just to eat. The film shows that ending hunger is possible and is in the best interest of all.

The showing will take place beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 9, 2014 in the Founders Room of the United Church of Christ located at 11 .W Main St, Norwich

Community members who attend are asked to park their vehicles on the street, in Hayes Street lot, or County Office Building Lot and not the church parking lot.
