WINDSOR – Newly minted with a number three Class B state ranking, Norwich lived up to that billing racing to a 12-0 start in a rout of the Black Knights Wednesday.

Everyone on the Norwich roster scored with Makenzie Maynard reaching a game-high 17 points to lead the Tornado (3-0). “We never looked back after the start, and they had a lot of trouble breaking our press,” said Norwich coach Josh Bennett.

Shelby Benjamin added 12 points for Norwich and Kassidy Seary scored eight. “It was nice to have the balanced scoring,” Bennett said.
