New Berlin Library announces final book auction
NEW BERLIN – The New Berlin Associated Library is ending its autograph book auction with five new books. The final installment of the silent auction will run for the next two weeks. Bidding starts on each book at $20. The books are all brand new and were signed and given to the library, for the purpose of the fundraiser, by the authors. 100 percent of funds raised will be directly donated to the New Berlin Library.
First is an autographed copy of Dying on the Vine by Aaron Elkins. This is a hardcover and has the inscription "Ah, l'Itaila bella! With all best wishes, Aaron Elkins." Aaron Elkins is an American mystery writer best known for his anthropologist Gideon Oliver novels.
Next up is The Keeper by John Lescroart. John Lescroart is a New York Times best selling author. The Keeper is a hardcover, first edition. It is book is number 15 in the Dismis Hardy series.
The third book up for auction is Big Stone Gap by Adriana Trigiani. It is inscribed "Love, Adriana Trigiani 2014." Adriana Trigiani is a New York Times best selling author. Big Stone Gap was made into a movie starring Whoopi Goldberg and Ashley Judd.
Next is The Lost Years by Mary Higgins Clark. Mary Higgins Clark is often referred to as the Queen of Suspense. This is a hardcover, autographed edition of her 2012 best selling novel.
Last is The Academy by Ridley Pearson. The Academy is the second book in the Steel Trapp series. This is a young adult adventure novel. Ridley Pearson is a New York Times best selling author of thriller and suspense novels.
