6OTS celebrates the return of Rick Gottlieb Saturday

OXFORD – This Saturday, January 17 beginning at 7:30 p.m. 6 On The Square in Oxford is pleased to welcome back acoustic guitar and singing musician Rick Gottlieb to its stage.
Gottlieb began playing guitar at age five, later studied at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music for guitar, voice, and music theory.
In addition to his NYC training, Gottlieb also studied voice and performance at Binghamton
University (BU). While at t BU he met his future wife Cheryl.
Soon the couple would bring two children into the world, and a focus on careers and family life became the priority. The family would eventually settle in Boston, where Gottlieb's music was tucked away in his guitar case, and his banking law occupied his attention.
Soon life would pass Gottlieb by in an instant, and soon again a rediscovery or his youthful ambitions would find him. As a result, "Nobody"s Fool," Gottlieb's debut offering, was released in 2008 followed closely by 2013's "Waiting for the Train."
To get a taste of Gottlieb's journey to the mundane and back, and some of the best coffee in Chenango County, get out to 6 On the Square this Saturday
Tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate of $12 apiece until the day of the show, or $15 at the door. If you're stuck in the hut, they can also be obtained online by pointing your browser at 6onthesquare.org.
