Norene Palmer joins law firm of Lee & Emerson

NORWICH – Thomas C. Emerson and Norene R. Palmer are pleased to announce the formation of their partnership, Lee, Emerson & Palmer, LLP. Palmer, a native of Norwich, graduated from Norwich High School in 2000. She initially pursued a career in teaching, after having received her B.A. in Adolescence Education and Master of Arts in History, both from SUNY Cortland. After spending a short time teaching, she joined the law firm as a paralegal in 2006 and subsequently decided to pursue a career in the legal field. She received her Juris Doctor in 2013 from SUNY at Buffalo Law School. Palmer was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 2014.
Palmer is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association, Chenango County Bar Association, is a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Norwich, and serves on the Chenango County Blues Festival Committee.
Palmer’s areas of practice are Real Estate, Estate Planning and Administration, Business Entities (LLCs, corporations and partnerships), and Landlord/Tenant Law. She is currently accepting new clients.
David F. Lee, Sr. established the firm in 1907 and over the years, his sons, David F. Lee, Jr. and Edward J. Lee, were partners in the firm. Mr. Emerson joined the firm in 1974. The office is located at 35 West Main Street, Norwich, NY.
