ONEONTA – Tthe New York State Police at Oneonta, are investigating the deaths of Tifanne K. Wells, age 44, and George L. Jones, age 51, at a residence on County Highway 47 in the Town of Oneonta.

On Sunday, March 8, 2015, Otsego County 911 received a call from a concerned third party to check on the welfare of Wells and Jones.

Troopers responded to the residence at approximately 8:30 a.m. and located both subjects deceased outside of the residence. Otsego County Corner James Hurley responded to the scene and ordered autopsies to be conducted at Lourdes Hospital, in Johnson City, New York.
