NORWICH – April showers may bring May flowers, but they also bring lots of cute, furry and loveable kittens who have special needs, which is why the Chenango SPCA is asking people to mark their calendars for this year's Kitten Shower.

The shower will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, April 11, at the Chenango SPCA located at 6160 County Rd. 32 in Norwich.

Just like any baby shower, the SPCA is asking for items its kittens need to ensure that they grow to be healthy and adoptable. Needed items include: small cat beds, canned cat food (pate style), cat toys, litter, shallow litter pans, paper towels, disinfectant wipes, dish soap and Lysol.
