GREENE – Residents in Greene will have a new option in terms of primary health care starting today as the Bassett Healthcare Network has recently expanded its primary care services into the southern region to include a location in the rural Chenango County village.

Dr. Marjorie Ketzak has transferred her family medicine practice in Greene to the Bassett system, which also allowed for the expansion and modernization of the clinic.

With the construction now complete, the newly renovated facility will become a satellite Bassett practice, officially opening for business today.

To mark the transformation, an open house with tours for the public has been planned for Thursday, May 21 from 4 – 6 p.m.

“This is an exciting time for us at the Greene Health Center,” said Ketzak. “The demand for quality primary care has continued to grow in this community – and I am thrilled to be able to help meet the health care needs of the families living here.”
