Oxford 9, Unadilla Valley 5
OXFORD – Oxford broke open its game with Unadilla Valley Tuesday with four runs in the bottom of the fourth to pick up its third win of the season.
Already leading 5-2, Oxford senior Richard Ryan delivered a two-run single, and Dylan Depew followed two batters later with a ground-rule double scoring two more runs.
UV countered with its final three runs in the top of the fifth scoring the first run on an infield error, then Will Martin drove in two with a double to center field.

Windsor 7, Norwich 3
WINDSOR – One big hit for Windsor crushed the momentum Norwich had built through four innings as the Black Knights rallied for the victory Tuesday afternoon.
Norwich led 3-1 entering the bottom of the fourth on the strength of Cody Brady's three-run triple in the third. Norwich loaded the bases without a basehit, and Brady went to a three-two count before fouling off two straight pitches. On the next delivery, Brady laced a line drive to right field that skipped past a diving Windsor player.
From there, Windsor was able to load the bases with just one out. Nate Wrighter, who was 1-for-2 to that point, ripped the first pitch he saw over the centerfield fence for a grand slam and the lead.
"Wrighter was taking first-pitch strikes the first two times he batted," said Norwich coach Rich Turnbull. "He was sitting on that first pitch (in his third at-bat). It's not too often that you get beat by one hit, but that's what happened today. We made some errors today, but only one cost us a run."
Norwich plays at Seton Catholic Central today.

Clinton 11, Sherburne-Earlville 4
SHERBURNE – Clinton had back-to-back four-run innings in the fifth and sixth to rally past Sherburne-Earlville Tuesday.
Clinton strung together hits and were aided by S-E errors during the two big innings. "We got some balls up that they hit hard, and we made some errors as well," said S-E coach Jay Tackabury. "We were in it for four innings, but we kind of gave it to them in the end."
S-E sophomore Trevor May was effective in his first varsity start pitching four innings and allowing no earned runs in a no decision. He struck out four before leaving due to arm fatigue. "I was really impressed with him," Tackabury said of his sophomore hurler.
The Marauders led early with three runs in their opening at-bat. The first run scored on an error, and Brett Baker contributed a two-run single.
Brady Dobrzenski had two hits and two RBI to lead Clinton.
