NORWICH – Are you ready to rock?
The Chenango chapter of the New York State Archaeological Association will host a lesson on fossil identification at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Chenango County Historical Society in Norwich.
The event features guest speaker Bruce Oldfield, professor of geology at Broome Community College. Oldfield will offer tips on identifying fossils and talk about dinosaurs that once ruled the region.
Guests are encouraged to bring in thier own fossils for identification for this free family friendly program.
