NHS to host final concert of 2014-15

NORWICH – The Norwich High School Music Department will present its final program of the school year at the ‘Spring Concert II’ on Thursday evening, May 28 beginning at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
The event is free and open to the public and will feature the following enasmbles:
• Jazz Ensemble (Erin Banewicz, director- “Pure Imagination”, “Angel Eyes”, “Better Get It In Your Soul”)
• Wind Ensemble (Erin Lynch, director-performing “Fate of the Gods”)
• String Ensemble (Allison Rehn, director-performing “Chant-Formations” and “Marche Slav”)
• Treble Choir (Mary Williams, director- performing “Keep Holding On”)
• Mixed Choir (Mary Williams, director “Baba Yetu”, “Seasons of Love” and “River In Judea”)
Some selections will be conducted by 2015 Ithaca College Graduate Alexandra Langdon, who recently completed her student teaching with Mrs. Williams.
