Two arraigned in Chenango County Court

NORWICH – Early Monday afternoon two individuals were arraigned in Chenango County Court for various charges. Both individuals were arraigned by County Court Judge Frank B. Revoir Jr.

Thomas Toomer of Oxford was charged with friving while intoxicated, a felony. After the arrest, Toomer was released on his own recognizance, or ROR’d. Folliwng his felony arraignment Monday he remained on ROR. As a result of the charges he is facing, Toomer was forced to surrender his license so he could not drive until the court deemed that he was able to.

Hollianne Fitch of Norwich was arraigned after Toomer. Fitch was arrested in April and charged with 3 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a B felony, unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, and criminal nuisance. Fitch is currently being held on $7,500 bail. At the request of District Attorney Joseph McBride, the bail has been continued.
