NORWICH – On April 29 of this year the residents of the Chenango Valley Nursing Home celebrated National Volunteer Appreciation Day by honoring their own volunteers. They celebrated by inviting the local volunteers to a luncheon at the residence.

The Chenango Valley Nursing Home celebrated the volunteers with a special luncheon followed by a presentation of gifts from the residents to the volunteers. Each volunteer received a gift basket from the local business The Parsons Daughter. The baskets were made to show their appreciation for the dedicated service that the volunteers have preformed throughout their time at the residence. The residents and staff wanted to stress their appreciation for the volunteer’s dedication and service durring their service at the residence. These volunteers are ready and willing to do anything and everything that can be of help to the nursing home staff.
