Common Council says goodbye... and hello

NORWICH – The Norwich Common Council bid farewell to longtime Alderman Paul Laughlin at their regular monthly meeting held on Tuesday. Laughlin is retiring his post after serving the city's fifth ward for more than ten years.

Though resigning from the council, Laughlin intends to stay engaged in other community affairs. Remaining councilmen and the City Mayor Joseph Maiurno presented him with a plaque on Tuesday in recognition of his service and dedication.
