CHENANGO COUNTY – Last winter’s extreme weather conditions has resulted in more state aid for the Chenango County Department of Public Works.

With the adoption of the 2015-2016 New York State Budget in April, state legislators enacted the “Extreme Winter Recovery Appropriations,” a one-time reimbursement to local governments to help offset repair costs to roads and bridges damaged during the winter season.
