Guernsey employees given state honors

NORWICH – Three Guernsey Memorial Library employees, Kathy Barton, Laura Mandell, and Joyce Neal, were honored with New York State Library Assistants Association Level IV Certificates of Achievement at the 37th Annual NYSLAA Conference in Corning.
The Certificates of Achievement program recognizes library assistants’ education, work experience, and continuing professional development. The Level IV certificates awarded to GML employees last week represent the highest level of achievement recognized by NYSLAA.
Guernsey Memorial Library is proud to have three other Level IV employees: Scott Goodman, Brian Doliver, and Sue Morehead. Sue Morehead, a long-time library employee, was also honored with the NYSLAA Craig Koste Award for Outstanding Service in 2010.
Please join us in congratulating Joyce, Kathy, and Laura and know that when you come to Guernsey Memorial Library, you’re receiving the highest possible level of library service available, NYSLAA guaranteed.
