Community rallies to help build house for man injured in car accident
LEBANON – In December of 2014 Lebanon area resident Frank Urban was seriously injured in a car accident that paralyzed him from the waist down. Now returning from rehab at the end of the week, Urban’s friends and family are all pulling together to help him out.
Urban owns a small roofing business with his two brothers and son and own a construction shop on his farm in Lebanon. Here he wants to build a small house, but unfortunately does not have the means or the ability to do so. Mike Morse, a friend of Urban’s, wants to do all he can to help Urban. Morse is asking any and all who can to help donate materials and time to build the house for Urban.
“I’m really just looking for anybody willing to help,” said Morse. “We would like to get started on this as soon as we can.” Morse has already begun speaking to local businesses and asking for them to help and materials to build the house.
On Sunday July 5, according to Morse, there was a benefit held for Urban. “There were 400 to 500 people there,” said Morse. “There are just a ton of people willing to come out and give there support for Frank. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.”
Those who are interested in helping the Urban family, please contact Mike Morse at 1-315-824-1470. Morse said any and all help would be appreciated.
