Sidney jewelry heist prompts New York State Trooper burglary investigation
SIDNEY –The New York State Police, Troop C, based out of the Town of Sidney, is seeking public assistance with a burglary investigation in the Town of Sidney in which some gold jewelry and gold coins that were taken from a local home. The burglary occurred in the home after July 6, 2015.
The following items have been reported stolen: Antique 1960’s era gold charm bracelet with five large heart-shaped gold charms. The charms may contain inscriptions on the back that contain the names “Henry”, “Jeanette” and various dates, a gold ring with a heart and diamond chip in the heart-shaped setting, gold necklace with a gold heart-shaped pendant, and two gold bullion’s one-ounce coins.
A call was placed to the NYSP Public Information Officer in order to seek more information. More Information will provided when it is available.
