Kelly's Flowers back on top in South New Berlin Horse Shoe League

SOUTH NEW BERLIN – After the week of August 26, Kelly's flowers regained its position of first place on the leader board of the South New Berlin Horseshoe Club. In second place this week Newton's Reconditioning is close behind the leaders, only a half a game away. The new third and fourth are Rustic Ridge Winery with a record of 44.5 and 23.5 followed by Chobani, a team that had dropped low on the leader board, but is now making its way back on top.
With teams so close together at the top and only two weeks to go, its still anybody's game. The teams in the top five are all only separated by a few games each with make up games still left to play. The rest of the field is very close as well with multiple teams within just a few games of each other.
Ed Kohler earned the top single game for the men with a score of 103. Kohler also threw the high series with a 273, tying with George Harageons.
For the ladies it was Cindy Miller who captured top single game honors, tossing an 81 for single games. Penny Harageones threw the high series for the women, throwing a 213 on the day.
After many close series, Service Pharmacy took both the top individual game score with a 222. It was Potter's Tire who took the top team score with a 644 beating out the next team by seven points.
