Traffic stop yields drug charges in Norwich

NORWICH – Norwich police have arrested two men who are accused of having a hefty number of oxycodone pills in their car during a routine traffic stop early Thursday morning.

Police pulled over 18-year-old Tiger D. Gould and 19-year-old Amiel P. Reynolds, both of Afton, for a traffic violation on Columbia Street shortly before 4 a.m.

Upon investigation, police claimed more than 400 oxycodone pills from the vehicle with a street value of more than $2,200.
