OXFORD - On Friday, October 9, the Oxford girls varsity volleyball team hosted Bainbridge-Guilford in a match that they would eventually lose, 3-0.

In the first game B-G would hold Oxford to only seven total points, dominating the floor on defense. Leading the way for B-G on defense was Zamira Caldwell with three blocks.

The second game saw Oxford put up more of a fight, but would still lose 25-16. The third and final game B-G won by a score of 25-20 and closed out the match.
